Skydome is an architectural lighting project, designed to enhance comfort in the kitchen, creating an unexpected atmosphere with an emotional impact that cleverly conceals the powerful and silent extraction system, guaranteeing maximum performance even at a significant distance from the cooktop.
As a skylight, the 28-watt full LED panel guarantees uniform and well-calibrated light diffusion on the work surface and in the surrounding area, adjusting the brightness and temperature to achieve the perfect atmosphere at all times.
Thanks to the Smart Remote control, Skydome can also act as the kitchen lighting hub, allowing you to manage additional lighting systems as well.
Minimum space is required for installation thanks to the installation choices (5 directions) for the blower unit or wide range of external motors (4 versions). The super slim version is suitable for even the most demanding installations, with its signature compact size, up to 16 cm, without sacrificing high extraction power. The product can be converted into filter mode with an attractive accessory that guarantees excellent performance in terms of extraction and odour removal.

Delay Switch Off
A smart timer feature allows you to set the automatic switch-off of the product after a predetermined time. Delayed shutdown may be used in order to leave the hood on even after cooking, so to fully remove stubborn odors and residual humidity.
Maintenance Alarm
Products equipped with this feature have an indicator light that alerts the user when grease and odor filters are about to reach maximum saturation. Therefore, it’s easy to always know when it’s time to wash or replace them, in order to keep the appliance clean and operating properly over time.
Connectivity
With the increasing widespread diffusion of the IoT world, it has become common practice to manage all your devices with a wi-fi connection. We can now control our extraction hood with the dedicated Elica app or through voice control to turn it on or off, adjust the extraction speed or intensity and the colour of the light, simply with a click or the help of the most popular vocal assistants. The app also becomes a useful tool for maintaining the product, thanks to periodic notifications which report on its status, any cleaning operations required or filters that need replacing.

Comfort Silence
With the widespread tendency to design open-plan kitchens joined to the living room, it has become important to be able to rely on hoods with a greater extraction capability which are quieter, so they do not intrude on the surroundings. Thanks to Comfort Silence, the sound level of Elica extraction hoods at maximum extraction speed does not disturb or interfere with the conversation of those present.
Super Easy Installation
With the exclusive Elica system, installation can be done in total safety in just a few steps, safeguarding the look of the product and the space in which it is positioned. After the hood is automatically locked in position, the fastening points can be finely adjusted to preserve the linear design of the kitchen and ensure perfect integration of the hood in the room. A simple, hard-wearing and safe solution.
Long Life Filter
To ensure the best performance and long-term duration of your hood, the traditional filters must be replaced every 3-6 months. To simplify the maintenance operations, Elica has designed the innovative, regenerable Long Life odour filter which lasts up to three years. Just wash it with hot water and neutral soap or in the dishwasher at 65° and dry it in the oven at 100° for ten minutes every two months to keeping it looking good as new. The level of efficiency is about 60%.
Long Life Filter ++
Long-Life Filters ++ have been developed by Elica to reach maximum performance levels and guarantee odor filtering efficiency, which is much higher than average. In order to simplify maintenance operations and reduce environmental impact, these anti-odor filters can be regenerated, lasting up to 3 to 5 years, thus avoiding frequent replacements and waste.
Dim Light
The light in the kitchen, as in any room, is a key design feature for improving the home living experience. Achieving the right intensity becomes fundamental in creating the desired atmosphere. Which is why Elica has designed the Dim light function which allows you to adjust the intensity of your extraction hood light with a simple control. Maximum light for the best visibility on the worktop or dimmed when relaxing.
Tune White
Selecting various lighting tones can be very useful, based on certain moments and household activities. A cool light is best for cooking, but a warm light creates a more relaxing mood. With the Tune White feature, it is possible to adjust the LED colors, from warm white, to cool white, matching the hood lights to those of the room, for a uniform atmosphere throughout the space.
Airmatic
The Airmatic feature automatically treats your indoor air all day long. The sensor identifies air quality even after cooking, detecting unpleasant odors and vapors, as well as pollutants such as cleaning solvents, cigarette smoke and all volatile organic compounds (VOC). Using such information, the hood automatically regulates the extraction flow and once air quality has returned to an ideal level, it automatically switches off, thus avoiding any energy waste. This technology allows for the best balance between easy usability, energy savings and low noise levels.
