The hood is equipped with the Comfort Silence technology that allows to reach a high level of silence at all speeds. Additionally Haiku is designed to offer an easy and safe experience during the filters maintenance, which is ensured by the locking system of the 3D casted grids that prevents their release, allows to easly remove and clean them in the dishwasher.

Maintenance Alarm

Products equipped with this feature have an indicator light that alerts the user when grease and odor filters are about to reach maximum saturation. Therefore, it’s easy to always know when it’s time to wash or replace them, in order to keep the appliance clean and operating properly over time.

Comfort Silence

With the widespread tendency to design open-plan kitchens joined to the living room, it has become important to be able to rely on hoods with a greater extraction capability which are quieter, so they do not intrude on the surroundings. Thanks to Comfort Silence, the sound level of Elica extraction hoods at maximum extraction speed does not disturb or interfere with the conversation of those present.

Long Life Filter

To ensure the best performance and long-term duration of your hood, the traditional filters must be replaced every 3 to 6 months. To simplify the maintenance operations, Elica has designed the innovative, regenerable Long Life odour filter which lasts up to three years. Just wash it with hot water and neutral soap or in the dishwasher at 65? and dry it in the oven at 100? for ten minutes every two months to keeping it looking good as new. The level of efficiency is about 60%.
